Caracas 2006,

La Estancia, is the name of a colonial house and its gardens, located in near Caracas’ financial area. The property is surrounded by residential and offices buildings that did not consider the value of the gardens into their design.  The back of the building and simple walls separate the gardens from the city. The present activities at La Estancia, are mainly cultural and recreational, with a small gallery at the main house and concerts organize in the gardens.

The project proposes to integrate the gardens into the city by creating a boulevard between the back of the buildings and the west side of the garden, as well as a proper auditorium and gallery for the existing cultural activities.

In order to keep the quality of the garden, a green steps wall is created.
